About me

My name is Gisela Ramos and I have worked as a professional translator and as a teacher of Spanish, English and French (both in Spain and in the UK) since 2012. 

My passion for languages and cultures began at an early age, since I started learning English, French, Latin and Ancient Greek at school and then Italian and German at university.

I hold a Degree in Translation and Interpreting of English, Spanish, French and Italian from the University of Granada and a Master´s Degree in Teaching (Speciality: Foreign Languages) from the University of Valladolid. I am also a Sworn Translator and Interpreter of English-Spanish certified by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation since 2011.

I carry out sworn translations of a wide range of documents: university degrees; academic transcripts; criminal record certificates; medical certificates and reports; birth, marriage and death certificates; wills; powers of attorney and contracts, among others. 

Regarding my work philosophy, I work directly with clients and I personally take care of all the assignments I receive, therefore I can offer personalised advice. This way of working is highly flexible and it allows me to easily adapt to the customers´ needs without intermediaries. 

I firmly believe in the importance of CPD and this is the reason why I am committed to attending courses and seminars on a regular basis.
